  • The owners of the Mountain View Golf Course hired the National Golf Foundation (NGF), a golf industry research firm, to evaluate the feasibility of re-opening the golf course.

  • ​The Southern California Golf Association noted recently (and confirmed by NGF statistics) that the Inland Empire was overbuilt with golf courses over the past few decades due to the perception of strong demand at the time and available land.

  • A total of 15 golf facilities closed in Riverside County since 2003.

  • The report findings concluded that a declining golf market and an oversupply of nearby golf courses would result in an operating loss each year and would not be a sustainable option.
